In the article the basic systems and approaches to assessing the quality of e-learning are considered. The global experience of monitoring of e-learning is analyzed, reviewed the following techniques: Quality Matters, eMM, E-xcellence, ACODE, Pick&Mix. The technique of monitoring institutions in the field of e-learning (EE) and distance educational technologies (DET), including a following stages: the definition of the goals and objectives of the monitoring, the selection criteria for evaluating, informing and attracting participants, data collection, processing and analysis of the results, to identify areas for improvement and development of activities aimed at the development of EE and DET. The presented technique provides full coverage of all aspects of e-learning allows you to assess the level of development of EE and DET in high schools and college readiness to participate in intercollegiate educational projects involving the use of EE.
