ON THE MATHEMATICAL DESCRIPTION OF THE MAGNETIC LOSSES IN VARIABLE SPEED ELECTRIC MOTOR

The article discusses the modeling of the magnetic losses of the AC motor with the dynamic processes during operation of controlled electric drive. An approach to the description of these losses, based on determining the frequency of magnetization reversal from the angular velocity of flux vector relative the angular velocity of magnetic core. Received the mathematical description of the magnetic losses, takes into account instantaneous values of motor supplied voltages, as well as state variables of the motor. Shows the results of computational experiments, confirming the quality match of simulation results to the known results of physical experiments. The resulting mathematical description may be useful both in energy efficient motor control systems and for adjusting the parameters of the electric transducer, in particular, the choice of switching frequency.
