In work the developed program and algorithmic providing for the automated calculation of rational parameters of the deforming tool at design of press knot of installation for continuous molding pressing of bars from non-ferrous metals and alloys on the basis of a crystallizer of rotary type is discussed. In a basis of algorithm of calculation the technique of determination of the optimum sizes of an entrance angle of a matrix, cross section of the container, its minimum length necessary for implementation of process of molding pressing is put. Optimization is performed with application of elements of a variation method. Settlement data are used for drawing up working drawings on which laboratory installation of continuous molding of pressing of metals is made. The presented program of calculation of constructive and power power parameters of the unit can be applied by designers and technologists to processing of metals by pressure industrially at design of installations to continuous molding pressing of metal. Verification of the created software product is carried out with use of experimental data of process prototype.
