This paper investigates the propensity to overheat steel alloying systems H3G3MFS and HN3MFS. In this paper we have investigated steel 25H3G3MFS, 25H3G3MFS2, 45H3G3MFS, 45H3G3MFS2, 25HN3MFS, 25HN3MFS2, 45HN3MFS, 45HN3MFS2. Each steel is heated to a temperature of 1000 °C, 1050 ºC, 1100 °C, 1200 °C and 1150 ºC, exposure was 30 minutes, followed by cooling in air. Metallographic analysis was performed using a light microscope at magnifications OlympusGX 51 to 1000-fold in the etched skew microsections grain size was determined using the Olympus Stream Motion. The experiment results were plotted as austenitic grain size on the heating temperature. According to the results of metallographic investigations steel alloying systems H3G3MFS HN3MFS and it can be concluded that with increasing silicon content (% wt.) recrystallization temperature of austenite increases. The study was a system H3G3MFS showed that with increasing carbon content of the recrystallization temperature of austenite is lowered. During the studies found that the melting 25H3G3MFS2 and 25HN3MFS2 less prone to overheating.
