Over the last decade, remote monitoring of health status of patients has received considerable attention. An increasing number of the aging population and the high cost of medical care play a major role in the need for secure remote monitoring of patients. This article developed a wireless system for remote monitoring of health status of patients based on ZigBee and the LabView program. The system can provide information about the health status of the patient in real-time. The proposed system can send alarm messages about the critical condition of the patient to a specialist or doctor. The system can send the report to the monitoring system in patients. These reports can be used by the attending physician to provide the necessary advice from anywhere at any time.
