The results of research of the process automation of the technical condition control of motor vehicle in operation are presented. A functional scheme of the industrial process control of motor vehicle’s maintenance and repair is shown with diagnosing their technical condition, which resulted in the decision to conduct the necessary technical impacts. To improve the efficiency of decision-making to maintain and restore health of vehicles software developed control systems is proposed, essential elements of which are the database for each car, regulatory and current values of the diagnostic parameters recommended by the technical effects of deviations from the values of the diagnostic parameters regulations. Implementation of management decisions of the necessary technical influences is shown on example of engine model ZMZ-4063.10.
