The necessity of comprehensive mechanization of various processes in the forestry sector, which can be achieved through the introduction of modern and advanced vehicles and equipment replacement. Is the definition of multi-purpose vehicles in the combined course and identified a variety of foreign companies engaged in the production of the technique. The examples of existing modern vehicles on the combined (road and rail) course, which can be used in forestry for the various types of work. Established advantages and disadvantages of the machine in the combined course, manufactured by Huddig, Zwiehoff GmbH and Geismar, with their distinctive features, and shows brief specifications and performance of these machines. Shows the composition of the machine in replaceable equipment with indication of its purpose. The conclusion about the feasibility of a similar direction of technique.
