ON THE ISSUE OF DISCONTINUOUS CHIP FORMATION

Analytical review on the issue of discontinuous chip formation. Considered modern representations are (hypotheses) to explain the occurrence of a particular type of chips. The classification of elemental particles or the conditions of its formation. Some features of the education element chips: processed materials, the influence of the contact conditions, dignity and disadvantages of this type of chip. On the basis of analytical review revealed that the issue of discontinuous chip formation studied much less than the drain. This process has a lower stability, and learn it much more difficult. However, the study of this issue is critical. Identifying the relationship with the elemental processes for chip formation will allow to increase the efficiency of processing of materials with special properties, to increase a resource of the tool, as well as to solve a number of important industrial applications.
