COMPARISON OF NUMERICAL AND ANALYTICAL METHODS CALCULATION OF CHARACTERISTICS SUPPORT BEARING WITH EXTERNAL PRESSURIZATION GAS

The calculation results of the performance of the reference contact partially porous bearing with external pressurization gas. Calculation of the pressure field in the gap of the bearing and the main integral characteristics performed in the framework of the numerical and analytical techniques developed in Komsomolsk-na-Amure State Technical University. Theoretical studies were carried out at work bearing in suspension mode and in a hybrid mode. A comparison of the performance of different types of gas bearings with porous flow reducers conducted in a wide range of model parameters: the relative eccentricity, the structural parameter, the relative boost pressure, number of compressibility. Calculated dependences were compared with each other and compared with experimental data. Found that the theoretical curves are defined as in the analytical and numerical methods based entirely satisfactory for engineering practice in agreement with experimental results and with each other.
